  I was already pre-occupied with Metallica's 'Some Kind of Monster' documentary at that time.
  
  The 2 films are extraordinarily similar-
  
  innocent small-time rock band finds sudden success in seedy-drug-fueled chaos of the fast lane, looses touch with itself, looses a member, and eventually finds redemptive epiphany within the reflective wisdom of its errors.
  
  Kirk Hammet even drives a 69' Corvette Stingrey like Kelly's!
