Wed, June 29, 2005 - 8:07 PMWell the soundtrack was remastered and rereleased. That's usually a sign. I have also heard that Ebert did commentary for the movie.
But other than that nada. -

(snip)
Other "Cinema Classics Collection" titles coming in early 2006 from Fox include new special editions of Valley of the Dolls and Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

Re: DVD Rumors
Sat, November 19, 2005 - 4:41 PMI recently spoke to my friend Jeff McDonald (from Redd Kross) who told me that he and his brother recorded some commentary this past summer for the DVD ... They did a smokin' cover of "Look On Up At the Bottom" on their Born Innocent record in '84 and stared in the b-movie cult classic "Desperate Teenage LoveDolls" - which was inspired by BVD, John Waters and the Runaways.

Re: DVD Rumors
Mon, January 9, 2006 - 8:58 AMThat's a good sign if commentary was recorded. I bought the PAL version (and have a region 2 portable DVD player), and there are no extras at all on that DVD. I'd invite you all over to watch it, but I'm sure most of you have it on VHS or BetaMax or 8-track or whatever those ancient things are called nowadays.
amazon is still not listing a specific release date, and I checked reel.com and it's not there yet either.
